Typical astrophotography configurations:

Team VIXEN - Steven Mohr and David Rolfe
Heathcote March 2009
Vixen VC200L and TSA102 mounted together on T adaptor plate
[Orion now used as guide scope],
using Canon 40DH for photographs, and Meade DSI2 for guide
camera. All
mounted on EQ6 Pro mount. Orion ED80 + DSI 2 work
PHD Software via EQMOD software to guide EQ6 Pro mount. Canon 40D software is used to manage the 40DH settings
and automated exposures.

Past configuration saw the Orion ED80 piggy backed on the
Meade LX200 GPS. No guiding, and a field de-rotator was used
in the ED80 to de-rotate image movement whilst the mount was
in Alt-Az mode. A modified Canon 350D was previously used
with great results.
