Boarder Stargaze 4
Milky Way (Albury Sky Glow)

This exposure was taken on the tennis court of The Wymah
Valley Holiday Park, looking a bearing of 264o,
Altitude 24o. (approximately situated 40kms NE of
Albury, just on an arm of Lake Hume, new South Wales). Sky
glow of Albury to the lower left centre. On this night, the
astrophotographers can be seen with their red torch and
laptop light. No it was not raining, the umbrella was being
used to keep the dew off equipment. On this night a fleet of
G11's, a Vixen and a EQ5Pro were used.

Public Viewing
Nights |

Just to let
everyone know, public viewing nights are held
every first Friday of the month. Clear or cloudy
nights the public viewing night goes ahead.
Members man a number of telescopes of various
sizes and types, and for those nights where the
sky is cloudy, extended astronomical presentations
are presented in the MPAS Viewing Centre.
So please come
along and enjoy our nights sky.
