Greg Walton, a life member of the Mornington Peninsula Astronomical Society, who has made a great number of valued contributions to the club in the form of large truss telescopes and other facility upgrades at his expense. On public and members evenings, Greg willingly contributes his time to all to either enjoy the use of  his scopes, or assistance to learning how to use your own equipment.

Above is a small selection of a great variety of photos taken by Greg either via his 18" scopes or by wide field photography using the standard lens that accompanied his great Pentax ist D.

Public Viewing Nights

Just to let everyone know, public viewing nights are held every first Friday of the month. Clear or cloudy nights the public viewing night goes ahead. Members man a number of telescopes of various sizes and types, and for those nights where the sky is cloudy, extended astronomical presentations are presented in the MPAS Viewing Centre.

So please come along and enjoy our nights sky.
