Society monthly meeting recorded on 20230517 at The Briars Mount Martha Observatory.
Meeting introduction was by the President, Dr. Peter Skilton.
The main talk was by Trevor Hand, on the topic of “Sailing Into Darkness: The Great Ningaloo Eclipse” after he and his wife, Kathryn, sailed into darkness on April 20th off the coast of Exmouth in Western Australia.
This was followed by Mark Stephens, Vice President, who presented “Sky for the Month”.
Chris Kostokanellis was travelling, so Astro Mo Pho results were postponed to next month.
Then a special coronation cake, baked by Ros Skilton using a secret recipe handed down family lines, was shared with all who attended.
